In this exhibition, you can get to learn the importance of water in our lives and how they work! Just prepared to get wet as you explore this hand-on exhibit!  You will find a Water Clock Tower, which is a giant mechanical clock tower that is equipped with an anemómeter to measure wind speed, a winsock to indicate wind direction, and a rain gauge to measure the amount of rainfall! There is also a water maze where you can navigate through a maze of water jets!

You will get to view exhibits of various optical illusions and see how things may not always be the way they appear! Some highlights include The Unexpected Dinner wherein you can crawl in from the back and stick your head through the hole above. The mirrors create an illusion, showing you an empty space and hiding your body! Another highlight is the Giant Chair where you can place your camera behind the peephole and see how two separate pieces of a chair align! Just good old magic, isn’t it?

Phobia: The Science of Fear

Face your fears in an exciting journey of self-discovery! Who knew that understanding and managing fear can also be entertaining? Through this area, you will be able to find out what phobia really is, from its historical and cultural significance to the psychology and physiology of fear and how it affects our daily lives. Some fears that are highlighted here include Buried Alive and Public Speaking. 

Professor Crackitt’s Light Fantastic Mirror Maze

This life-sized labyrinth will keep you on your toes as you make your way through countless reflections and hallways. Your mission is to lend a hand to Professor Crackitt in finding his pet parrot, Whatnot, who got himself lost in the cast laboratory. You will also find the Professor’s numerous extraordinary and out-of-the-box inventions so make sure you won’t miss out on the full experience. Be careful, though! You might bump into your reflections as you go through the maze. A beautiful feature of this area is the Dynamic Chromatologic Shadow Splitter where, as you move around the room, you will create various coloured shadows.

Laser Maze Challenge

Harness your inner Ninja and test your reflexes as you race against time to manoeuvre through a dense field of laser beams! This dark arena has more than fifty laser beams you have to evade and pass. Try your best not to touch any of these lasers to complete the mission! Put your physical coordination and skills to the test with these fun-filled arenas!

Kinetic Garden

Through this Kinetic Garden, you can discover the inter-relationship among forms of energy and more through interactive exhibits such as the Magic Swing, a Sundial, and a Lithophone. This is a unique outdoor exhibition that demonstrates certain scientific principles and phenomena that would be difficult to create in an indoor setting.
