Australia continues to face difficult times. The bushfires have again destroyed homes, lives and have left lands lifeless. Green Is The New Black collaborates with Kilo Kitchen in hosting this wonderful fundraising event in hopes that the efforts and proceedings help Australia rise from these devastating times. With the undying and generous support of Collectius to this fundraiser, everyone has one goal – to help raise the funds for the affected parties that they may find hope and homes in these trying times.

In hopes of reaching more than what Collectius has generously donated for the victims of the Australian bushfires, everyone is helping one another raise the needed funds by sponsoring food, drinks and entertainment at this event.

With the advocacy of bringing hope to the victims of the bushfires in Australia, Hwee Koh hosts two fundraising classes – YOGA and STRETCH AND MEDITATION. The Yoga class runs at 6:15 PM – 7:15 PM. The next class for Mindful Stretch and Meditation runs at 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM.

All the funds accumulated from these charitable classes will be donated to Disaster Resilience and Recovery Fund, Foundation for Rural & Renewal Region (FRRR) and South Australian Veterinary Emergency Management (SAVEM).

Chiam See Tong Sports Fund is all about helping the youth reach their goals and dreams in the sports world, especially the youngsters with less opportunities and advantages than the rest. In this charity event, Chiam See Tong Sports Fund helps raise funds through competitions of Celebrities Sports Club against the Singapore Ex-Internationals. 

The event will be a host to everyone, with guests such as Hady Mirza, Andrew Lua, Devarajan Varadaraja – our Singapore Idol winners. We will be expecting appearances from Singapore’s Ex-Internationals Steven Tan, Mohd Noor Ali and Nazri Nasir.

The Migrant Writers of Singapore and PIS NUR ASSYIFA organises a blood donation event in hopes that they will save the lives of the people who need it. Donating blood is not a common practice in Singapore, and only 1.9% of citizens participate in these events. No one needs to wear a cape to be heroes, you can save more lives when you donate your blood.

Project X is a non-profit organization that aims to help and guide escort workers in Singapore learn more about themselves and the nature of their jobs. In this fundraising event hosted by Spoke & Bird Singapore, the funds will help the people in this career path have the readiness to leave this industry and secure their retirements should they wish to leave.

The event will introduce four enlightening and empowering presentations by four poets; Deborah Emmanuel, Shivram Gopinath, Melizarani Selva and William Beale. To each their own, Project X will give a fresh start for those who wish to explore more career paths and have a solid retirement option.
